Why we exist
The math behind selling online is deceptively hard.
A supplier's minimum order, a marketplace's fee stack, a shipping quote in cubic meters — each one looks simple until you try to combine them and decide whether a deal actually makes money. Spreadsheets get messy, blog calculators hide their assumptions, and most "free" tools just want your email.
SellHandy is the opposite. Every tool shows its numbers, uses current 2026 rates where fees apply, runs entirely in your browser, and asks for nothing in return. We'd rather you make a better decision than capture your address.
The result is a small, focused toolkit that follows a product from sourcing to shipping: size the MOQ, find the HS code, estimate the duty, price the freight, and check the true net margin after every fee — all in one place, all free.
How we work
Four principles behind every tool we ship.
4
Free now — paid tier on the way
Accurate by default
Where a tool depends on marketplace fees, we pre-load current 2026 rates from official seller schedules (Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Etsy) and label them clearly as indicative. You can always override them with your own numbers.
Private by design
Calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, stored, or shared — the numbers stay on your device and disappear when you close the tab.
Honest about limits
We show our assumptions and tell you when to check the official source. If a rate isn't publicly published (for example, a mainland-China gateway), we say so instead of inventing one.
Free now — paid tier on the way
Every tool runs free in your browser today — no accounts, no sign-up, no email capture. The free version is here to stay; a paid tier for advanced features (bulk calculations, saved projects) is on the way.
Who's behind SellHandy
A small team of e-commerce operators and compliance specialists — not a faceless content mill.
SellHandy is built and maintained by a small team of cross-border e-commerce operators and compliance specialists who actually ship on the marketplaces we cover — Amazon, Etsy, TikTok Shop, SHEIN and Temu. Every article and every calculator is reviewed by at least two team members before publish.
We don't use a single named "expert author" because the answers come from the team, not one voice — and we'd rather be upfront about that.
Editorial standards
- Numbers are sourced. Every marketplace fee, deposit formula and tariff rate is taken from an official 2026 seller schedule and dated on the page.
- Cross-checked. Tools and articles are reviewed by a second team member before publish.
- Corrections are public. Pages carry a "last updated" date and we note meaningful changes in the audit log.
- No quotes from imaginary experts. When we cite an industry figure we link the source; when we can't, we say so.
