The formula
Annual listing cost = active listings × $0.20 × (12 ÷ 4) × 1.25 (renewal margin), or more precisely the tool lets you set how many times a listing renews per year. It then divides that fixed cost across your sales per listing and net profit per sale to show how many listings each sale must carry.
