What the numbers mean for a seller
The commission tier is set by category, but the effective rate moves when a SKU is in a campaign (2.5-3.5%) or during the first 90 days (6%). Special Fee and Rebate are published but never defined
Newegg's Commission Reference lists Standard / Special / Rebate columns, but the company defines none of it publicly — the Chinese referral-fee page even shows only the single merged column.
